Will support Consumer Affairs on maggi suit

Maggi was a classic of nestle brushing things under the carpet in 2015 by using powerful lobbies to get officials transferred. Chances going by test reports are there was lead.

We will full support department of consumer affiars in its class action law suit of 640 crores and from what I understand first in India.

So let us know please if we need to sign somewhere.

Would be more than happy to. more

This is an isolated case which was high lighted. There is countless consumables which are harmful to human beings but ware being sold with impunity in the whole of India. Due to corruption and non-accountability the Food/Health Regulators do not work sincerely. All consumables should be tested by the Regulators randomly by ear marking the area of each official. The complete name, address, Mfg. Licence details, composition, date of expiry etc. should be displayed on the packing of each product. The action should be taken against the official under whose jurisdiction any lapse in found. more
Let us support Consumer Affairs on maggi suit more
Indian consumers are taken for a ride by many popular MNCs. So the claim must be fully endorsed and other MNCs must also be booked for similar offence. more
Even if Nestle was at fault there are a lot of questions unanswered. 1. Normally if some product is found substandard the produced batch of the product is taken our of circulation and random batches are checked for the error in production. If there is a Blanket Ban on a particular product due to failing of quality tests then the functioning of FSSAI and other regulatory authorities which have approoved such gross negligence should be questioned. In this case no one raised this question, Why? 2. The timing of blanket Ban on maggie noodles was just before the introduction of Patanjali noodles. Infact Patanjali had already announced that thier noodles are coming soon in the market just before Maggie was taken off the shelfe and as soon as maggie was taken out patanjali was kept in the shelves all this cannot be co-incidence. baba ramdev's involvement in politics and such moves in the market only gives us the sense of corny capitalism in this case. 3. Most Patanjali products failed the FSSAI quality tests but still present in the market just because they come with a sprinkle of spritualism. No one bans it and no halla gulla on it. 4. Just in a couple of months on maggie ban nestle India top officials in government and everything went back to Normal. There were no official announcements if at all they were found guilty or if they have rectified something but they were back in the market. With all this I am really not sure whom to trust/ corporates/ governments/ people ??? Or I think I should just become a farmer and grow my own food.... that's again risky as they also do not have any respite in this country more
