Whether the memory of Ms Vijaya Nair is right or wrong; it is admitted that a lot of debates have gone. But the safety of women is still in square one.Why it is not improved is the question. It cannot be changed overnight. The mentality of people should be changed. It will take time.A stringent punishment system and education to public from primary level on wards should be made compulsory.Hence it is expected that at least a changing generation will enjoy the benefit of training.
All women from the age of 6 should be trained in martial arts compulsory.Ward level volunteers of women should be posted with police every street corner. more

1. Referring the post of Vijaya Nair , it is on one way , the deviated Society & carry of studies away from Families AND ON THE OTHER WAY , the effects of the T. V. Channels Visuals inspiring and instigating through ODD ADDS and, the physical and Facial inciting expressions whether of movies or ADDS. 2. The continued Eve Teasing passion and , the expanded Ragging activities even in Girls hostels of Colleges and Universities . 3. The statistics of Women atrocities , suicides , Acid raids , Rapes if analysed a decade before and after 2005 , it shows exorbitant raise in this decade after 2005 which is also mainly due to the Women property right amended . Whether one agree or not , if thought deeply analyzing all connected, this also count itself as a cause with Lovers separated before marriage or; such cases before & after marriages . THERE SHALL BE THE REQUISITE REALIZATION NOT ONLY IN THE SOCIETY , BUT ALSO THE GOVERNMENT TO PRESERVE SAFETY , LOYALTY AND ROYALTY OF INDIANS. more
Women safety has been of paramount importance to India and thus we had created many weapons for women to be empowered, unfortunately - the government has to realize that giving fish doesn't work - we need to learn fishing - there has to be advancement in multi-fold: 1. Technology to nab the attackers - today there might be some influential people who don't get caught because of no evidence. 2. Technology to nab the false alarm people - more than half of the reported cases are false alarms as they are about women wrecking vengeance on someone. This needs to stop - at least police should create a faster redressal system where the innocent is let off the trap of endless court trips. 3. Safety is a personal commitment - even though we have advanced in technology - the women who are also hand in hand in this development - need to be taught self protection techniques for free of charge - this happens in a lot of countries. 4. Stop media overkill - we need to find a way such that media does not jump the gun and demean others while the investigation is going on - I know that it will be tough to ask media not be curious - but at least a conscious effort to not pass judgements before the courts in India have said so. 5. We need to abolish the differentiation between men and women and treat them equally - we should abolish the gender biased laws and also abolish the caste based system - we have outgrown the caste system long ago - its 69 years after independence, today is 2015 and we are close to 2016 and we are still following laws written in 1860 - this is ridiculous - we need this to be relooked on both angles - applicability and to reach actual criminals. more
