Dear All, I am very much agree with the words of kj devasia. The main reason of yesterdays result against aap was its overconfidence and lack of strategy planning. Moreover being a new party AAP should give more time to make their base strong. I feel that due this unreasonable and irresponsible step of quit the seat from Delhi assembly, disheartened the Delhi public. The same effect also can be seen on lok sabha result. I am also a AAP supporter and will remain the same till i feel that they are doing the same what they say and their sayings are good for India and Indian public. Arun Kumar more
Dear Mr Kejriwal & Team, You accept it or not, you like it or not but the Indian citizens like me had much hope in AAP and did our little contributions to bring AAP as an alternative/major National Force for the welfare of this country; but we are disappointed. If you are ready to listen, here are the top 5 mistakes of AAP from its inception: Mistake No 1. AAP failed to understand the political trap set by BJP and Congress after Delhi election. As a result, when AAP was forced to form a minority Govt, it accepted the same, instead of rolling the same ball back to their court. A minority Govt supported by political rivals is the poorest political strategy. You should have clearly stated that "we will not form govt without clear majority". Mistake No 2. You had a good start of Delhi Administration. Once after forming the Govt, whatever may be the reason, AAP should never abandon the Govt and resign. It should have continued the Govt until the public realised the political plot by Congress and BJP. Political martyrdom is always best than over activism. Further please be clear that activism & administration are entirely two different things. Mistake No 3. In a hurry to elaborate the mass base, AAP went ahead with accepting everyone and anyone from the road side, including people who threw slippers to national leaders. AAP forgot or conveniently ignored to check the credibility and credentials of its new members who were considered as it's "potential leaders". Mistake No 4. AAP never bothered to invest time for formulating its national policies, national strategies, and moreover the organisational structure with code of conduct. Further, AAP should have focused on limited number of significant constituencies (not more than 75) instead of 400+. A party which is in its experimental stage should work to make its foundation strong than trying to widening its catchment area Mistake No 5. The mother of all mistakes of AAP is that it fielded its top candidates whose service required inside the parliament, against top guns. This was out of over confidence, super ego, and poorest planning. Fielding Kejriwal against Modi, Biswas against Rahul etc etc are the most immature decisions one can have. After all you wanted a prestigious election where all media attention available for max 30 days, or real business where media and public attention is available for 5 years in and outside the Parliament.? Yes, AAP should be vigilant against such trading of the Nations natural wealth in the form of crony capitalism. We must oppose, agitate & adopt the PIL route etc, which ever is feasible. Despite 4 seats we must emerge as the real watch dogs; but at the same time always provide constructive opposition. more
Dear Suri Sahib,I have no problem with capital (capitalists) making gains. Ultimately they also have to survive in the market. and the current world economy in no way supports any other form of development except the market economy. However, increased cap does not ensure any benefit to the promoter, unless he has to sell his share, which no one does. The only benefit of increased cap is easy excess to more loan, more market reputation etc. The point is are ambanis and adanis really beneficiaries of increased capitalisation or some thing else.? What I have learned in my entire academic career of economics teaching and researching is that: capital can benefit the society and itself if it promotes research and innovations. Can any body name a product which adanies and ambanies have invented/ innovated? Moreover, the dominant world corporates (including World Bank and IMF) do not promote any innovation/ inventions except by the MNCs or their subsidiaries. The basic argument they give is why to waste resources when you can share the existing technology (MNCs). Remember the argument given by economists like, Ashok Gulati, Kirit Parikh, and so on who influenced the policy by saying why to produce edible oils and pulses like things when you can import it at cheaper rates and Parikh said why to store food and incur carry over costs when you can import at much cheaper rates, forgetting how the countires like US make their agri products cheaper by providing huge subsidies. ( Suri sb if you are interested in it pl refer to my article in farmers forum. It is downloadable from the web of Farmers Forum.)The main and cheap money making way the Indian corporates have invented is to influence the policy to sell them nation's resources ( spectrum, coal, gas, and so on)at cheaper rates and sell them at higher rates ensuring cuts and to influence policy making bribe the politicians, bureaucrats. that is what adanis and the like have been doing which AAP should oppose vehemently. darshan From: support@localcirclesmail.com To: ds_bhupal@hotmail.com Subject: Commented on "What seat has AAP gotten" in [Aam Aadmi Party Delhi/NCR] Date: Fri, 16 May 2014 12:03:56 +0000 more
