UP Poll strategy
Irrespective of what PM Modi, Amit Shah and others might think, but UP polls are a combination of conscience, political strategy, individual integrity, in short, UP polls 2017 are a game of chess. This is why BJP needs a cunning strategist like Subramanian Swamy for these polls. The biggest hurdle in BJP's path towards UP win is none other than Mayawati. Whatever party leaders say. SP is definitely not going to win all alone (because of their own wrongdoings). Being the UP people having long forgotten INCongress and BJP with the larger UP population knows only the SP and BSP with Mulayamsingh Yadav and Mayawati with their respective poll signs on ballot paper. It would be advisable to bring in new strategy, new politicians like Subramanian Swamy. Rather than only depending on PM Modi's persona to fight against a formidable opponent like cunning strategist Mayawati, bringing new people would prove to be a boon, Subramanian Swamy could easily take on Priyanka Gandhi/Vadra, Mayawati, Prashant Kishore and the ilks. This is not to say that Subramanian Swamy be made a CM face for UP polls, but he can be effectively used against the INCongress, BSP kind of political parties in UP. more

I dont think Subramaniam swamy can help. He is not a poll master. He can create controversies, play court battles but handling a poll is altogether a different ball game in which he is not very adept.Understanding legal matters, finances is a different field but understanding peoples mood is not his cup of tea. only local leadership should handle it. Bringing any person from outside will only be counterproductive. Besides you have underestimated BJP. It is UP, which has decimated congress and BSP in loksabha and gave decisive majority to BJP. more
