UNAUTHORIZED PASSENGERS IN SLEEPER CLASS COACHES
When train stops at stations, long distance passengers get out to buy water or snacks, and when they come back, their seats are occupied by others. When controverted, their usual reply is that they would be getting down at the next station. This process, however, continues, as from the next station another set of passengers come in with the same explanation. There are some men, who carries a small booklet in their pockets, with the letters NRMU projecting out, are frequent intruders. Who are these people with NRMU in their pockets. They are in group and always behave rough with authorized passengers. Can't the authorities look into these matters.
The normal feeling that on a three tire seat, four can sit, but they do not understand that the long distance passengers who are sitting in the train for days and hours together cannot sit stiff, and have to sit comfortably.
This is everyday scene in many stations particularly where trains are approaching in morning hours. Daily travelers presume that they have right to enter any coach. Onus is surely on railways to stop such tresspassers in reserved coaches. However the passengers with reservations en mass can restrict the entries of such persons.

all unauthorized passengers who are travelling in reserved coached must be fined according to law and this will increase the revenue of railway and this will help to decrease subsidy given to passengers by railway.

The same problem is exists in AC coaches also, and for that responsible is TC.

This is a BIG CURSE on the genuine passengers of Indian Railways. This has been happening since decades. The main issue is the NUISANCE VALUE. Floating passengers mingling with the bonafide passengers are of great concern. Another important point is that this pose a big SECURITY THREAT to the vulnerable. Passengers' articles and luggage become EASY TARGETS FOR STEALING. We all should call upon the Ministry of Railways to stop this practice and curtail the unauthorised intrusions completely, on an URGENT BASIS.
