Un-Clean Roads and Colonies
Faridabad in early days was a cleanest city in all neighborhood of NCR. I been here for last 37 years and seen it transferred from clean to dirty.
Of course population explosion and movement of people from neighboring town to Faridabad is greatly responsible for this, but lack of clean drive from Faridabad Municipal added fuel to it.
It is hardly seen any body cleaning the roads or colonies from Municipality except 1-2 days before any major festival like Holi, Diwali or Dussera. And that also the employee wants tips or gifts from colony people.
It is sad that people who staying in the town very less care and don't even care to clean their own colonies. Drive through Sector 15, 37 or Sector 24 or in older Sector's of 7,8 or 10. They are dirtiest of lot.
Very Few Colonies are work hard to keep their colony clean like Sector - 30, Sector - 16, Sector 31.
But Still a good initiative from Municipality would have keep Faridabad clean specially in current situation.
I am living in Faridabad from last 30 years. I have not seen this city clean from so long. which area you referring?....pahle balki jyada gandi thi….har jagah pigs dola karte thein...kaali kichad hua karti thi..ab nahi hai balki..bas itna hai ki ab uski jagah har jagah khod diya hai for making it smart city...and it is taking too much time..very slow work....sir aap pahle matlab kitne saal pahle ki baat kar hai….

I agree. We have been living here since 60s and have seen Faridabad go from good to bad to worse to worst. MCF seems totally indifferent to city problems- be it cleanliness, water, sewer, roads, local transportation. Illegal construction in city goes on without check. Govt lands, parks, green belts are being encroached upon every where. Mails to DC, Commissioner are not responded at all. It's a very frustrating situation. In 21C market sewer is overflowing for the last 3-4 months, but no one bothers. A 10-15 minute rain fills the roads leaving no space for pedestrians, vehicles half drowned. This even in front of Police Commissioner office. Concrete roads are so poorly designed, without any footpath. Road height is about 8-10 inch which puts vehicles in danger of falling on the sides and damaged.

I fully agree with you. Faridabad is in the list of Smart City and no efforts are being made to make Faridabad a Smart City rather condition is going from bad to worst
