UAN - PF a/c link

Hi ,

I received reply from my current employer PF team,
"Hi, Please be informed that we have received your form 11 documents and while updating previous employer UAN Number, observed that previous master details (DOB, DOJ, DOE & KYC) against the entered Previous UAN number are Incomplete, so the entered previous UAN number cannot be linked to the current PF number. Please request previous employer to update the master details and approve the same with the help of digital signature so that we can map previous UAN number with current PF number. Thanks."

I asked previous employer to take necessary action but not received any response till date.

My previous PF account is transferred to current PF account.

Kindly suggest what steps I need to follow.

suggest to your present employer for New UAN creation. after then you can link your previous employer EPF to present . more  
Yes You have to comply as per current procedure more  
If your previous employer not responding to your requests you have two options: 1.Raise an grievance with EPFO @ http://epfigms.gov.in/ 2.Request your present employer to create new UAN. In this case, once your previous EPF account balance is transferred to your present EPF account, existing UAN (created by previous employer) will be cancelled. Generally the problem arises due to mismatch of DOB, DOJ and the name how you spelt at the time of becoming first time PF member. For if name is Mahesh Kumar Patil and subsequently in your present employment if you mention Mahesh K Patil or M.K. Patil, the claims usually get rejected. One should be careful and mention write the name exactly what you written at the time of becoming member. Otherwise it leads to rejection of claim and undue delay in transferring the accumulations. Now the best way is to approach the previous employer and get it rectified and also ensure the same details are mentioned with your present employer also. more
