Unusual imposition of tax on essential items is a big shock. The present administrator made the people fool by misleading since came in power. Failed to understand the logic behind such imposition of GST. People earnings got skewed as prices of essentials got spiked, how common people can survive? It will have an impact on consumption pattern and this will lead to encourage more malpractices instead of generating more revenue. Fools always dream staying in heaven despite staying in hell.
I dont know whats the need for Taxing unbranded essencial day to day commodities like Rice, Milk Etc. Is this all being done to :- * increase the Emoluments for themselves for their the Legislatorship time ti time , * and Earning a pensions even with 5 years Tenure as MP or MLA, to fetch life long Pension. And every term of theirs to be added on.This is more than what the Army personnel get. At whose cost ? We have hope on Modiji to start to make changes in this also , as his Government has started taking adequate measures in the Army; terminating 75 % of the Agni veers after 4 years Without Pension. Then there may be also curbs on subbsidized Provision and Tax free Liquor.
The shopkeeper will now cheat the customers and the IT department too.
Why now? They were doing it earlier as well.
The GST Council consists of Finance Ministers of States and Central government. These are elected politicians. There are no qualifications prescribed for post of Finance Minister i.e. Chartered Accountant or MBA (Financial Management) etc. Therefore GST Council is acting like a rubber stamp and approves whatever proposals are put before them by Bureaucrats.
Govt and GST council has lost touch with basic realities and since a meeting is held and they have to do something and do stupid things since it does not effect them in any way.It should be immediately rolled back and a survey need to be done by LC whether it is justified or not and sent to the govt for their feedback and pulse of the people
