Thanks to all the members and the LocalCircles Manager for regularly raising plight of common tax payer and businesses. Govt has acted per attached and dates have been extended. Congratulations all.

Its great we can list problems and put pressure on govt to act more

Government's action has been one of controlling first, hectic activity modifying systems to be seen as a initiator, rule maker, and then giving out a concession or two here and there. Prioritising was important. Tax refunds from previous financial year, are yet to be fully processed. What about those? No credit accruing, all these years in systemic automation processing the refund claims going, but yes, attention seeking tactical press release accolades here with realisable concessions promised. Mid-way, old income tax portal that was working absolutely fine, has been overhauled. Worms eye sees good, but an ariel view shows the complete picture. To be fair, government did implement the GST well, iteratively improving over last 4 years. more  
Its nice that the Local Circle and its members are accredited for the concessions and date extension for submission of various returns and statements. However, it has been the practice of the government to grant such concessions in the event of any unusual situation adversely affecting the people of the country. Accordingly, since outbreak of Covid19, the government has come out with concessions in different fields from time to time as relief measures to its citizens. more  
With the 2nd wave of virus and glitches of the new IT portal, there has been no option for the government to extend the timelines. more  
Govt has given tax exemption on Covid treatment costs!!! Wow more  
Tax Payers' Agony will disappear only when Corrupt Practices arrested Linking Aadhar Card to All Limiting Cash Transactions to 2 Thousands. more
