Swachh Survekshan Corruption
It was a bit shocking to read that Quality Council of India people are taking bribes to give higher rating in Swachh Survekshan.
Worrying thing is that the municipal commissioner is on the giving end. So how do we think this commissioner is going to recover this money. He will take cuts from cleaning, garbage and every other contract.
It is high time the Govt starts putting more focus on reforms of municipalities than doing these surveys. I am seeing for 2 years, enough surveys have been done via this circle itself. Isnt it time to act than spend our money doing surveys?? more

Absolutely correct, its a time for taking action but as I see the condition of our ruling govt in our state I less hopeful. Indeed I think the coming days are doesn't look prosperous. more

Bribe has so many names except the the word bribe itself. No one wants call it bribe . !. Air filling at petrol pumps is free but we give 'CHILLAR' 2. We engage daily labour for some work with the normal fee but when the work completed we are expected to give for 'TEA/COFFE' 3. At trains the Rs 7 Tea sold at rs 10 we buy without questioning. 4 Bus conductor does not give Rs 1 or 2 because no change we accept. 5 Passengers without reservation come to reservation compartment we accommodate 6. People spoil the public roads for their private works we tolerate. 7. Sweeper does not sweep the roads properly we never complain 8 accidents happen we remain onlookers and video takers only. 9. vote to money /caste /religion. 10.Many of us does not vote. 11.court cases pending for decades The list is endless . when we can accept all these what is the harm in accepting bribes. Our culture is 'chalta hai chelega' culture. Bend while it is twig. Need to control the corruption in any form. more

Efforts of BBMP are effective in certain areas and there is lack of cooperation from local residents in segregating and disposing in properly. But BBMP should also see the way the material is loaded in the truck. This is daily leading to a delay of traffic in Kagadasapura main road between 7am and 10 am by an average of 25 mts adding to the routine delay. This can be looked into by the people I charge in easing the traffic. At times I feel it is not only the traffic police but other civic organisations are also responsible. more

I have observed QCI itself is corruped then who else can be expected to be honest , Sakshi A QCI member who has removed me from Senior Assessors post as my approach was rough but she promised me that she will put me in next survey commencing April 2016 onwards.so till now I am waiting for her to include me in next survey .On asking in last year's April she told me that she left QCI. So to whom we can trust not known. more

Now this is made clear from different post, actual observation that if we want to make our India clean, Municipal corporation have to be evolved, transformed and revolutionized. PM himself have to take this task in his hand to show solidarity to the mission. As by making India clean some of the Industry by themselves will start growing like tourism Industry. more
