Stregthening Democracy and Democratic process of Elections in India
It is more than 77 years are over since India's Independacy and choose to go a Democratic Republic of States.
It is essential that a serious introspection is required w.r.t to Conduct of Elections and Electoral process.
Several intellectuals in the Society are feeling that the process has been become murkier year on year and ultimately feel of Democracy is weening.
I solicit all the members of this 'Elite Think Tank circle' to through their suggestions for improving the Electoral process essential for stregthening the Democracy and Republic of States.
The following are the begining lines in this regard:
1. Elections should be fought in an organised way on issues which are defined/specified out of pool of issues identified well inadvance which are collected from all the Political parties and Intellectuals and general public .
2. The basis of selection of issues should be based on criterial which are essential to the general benifit of all citizens in this country and for the Development of Society and Economy.
3.Taking up of emotional issues, and Issues on Religion, Caste and Region and personal issues should be fully banned.
4. Banning the Culture of Announcing 'Freebees' to Citizens rather than searching of alternatives for improving the Lives of Down trodden and Needy.
5. Reduction of Money power in Elections. Style of Campaign is mainly on Social media and Electronic media and restriction of no. of Public meetings and thereby reduction in Cost of electioneering etc.
Then only the country will be developed in all respects as a Democracy and responsible Political class will be evolved and reulsting into evolving of Responsible Society.
In a time when cynicism is widely regarded as "cool", or clever, it is imperative to revisit the fundamentals. We need to distinguish between We, the People, as an assertion and as an aspiration. We, the People, is an assertion by India's Constituent Assembly that it is the people themselves who are adopting a framework of values for the future.

Some 'Freebees' of empowerment are developmental. https://reasonstobecheerful.world/free-bus-passes-for-women-in-india-financial-freedom/#:~:text=Taking%20the%20bus%20helps%20them,by%20up%20to%20a%20quarter. Delhi was the first place in the country to provide women with complimentary tickets printed on pink paper, and earlier this year, the state administration reported that more than one billion have been used thus far. Other states that have launched similar programs include Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Telangana. The purpose of such policies is to bring more women into the workforce by lowering the cost and simplifying the process of working and traveling. According to the World Bank, India has one of the lowest rates of female labor participation in the world, with less than 25 percent of women over the age of 15 employed as of 2022, a decrease from 27 percent in 2012. In India, men frequently restrict the financial options available to women. And although these same men may object to their wives working outside the home, free travel gives women a choice that they did not have previously. Though women are free to work, if their commute is too expensive or unpredictable, they frequently choose not to. The governments that have put the program into place say that it has been successful and they intend to extend it.
