Spot on LocalCircles

I must admit that I am not a very active member of circles but I do read the communication and once a while comment.

Kudos to members of LocalCircles in being super spot on in predicting Omicron curve of Delhi and India.

The attached report from govt says over 58000 cases yesterday.

I will share an insight. Most labs are testing 250 people a day and are able to notify 3-4 positives. There is a high chance that they are using bad or outdated test kits that Omicron evades.

Please debate and discuss this. more

Labs may need more tests to differentiate between various off shhots of Corona Virus, but Rt-PCR is good enough to determine whether it is Corona or not. I hope I am right, but I don't mind being corrected. more
I'm very puzzled. Delhi's new cases per day had come down to single digits a week back. Since then it's exploding ; 5481 new infections in last 24 hrs reported today. Yet acc to the report uploaded by Rohit, Delhi's Omicron cases are only 464. Are the rest Delta? Unlikely. Looking at Omicron's explosive growth rate all over the world, my gut feeling is that Delhi's 5481 cases are 99% Omicron( not just 464) as are the 58000+ cases reported for India. And these figures are going to grow exponentially. (US is already at a million cases/day!) We have a moral duty to observe the physical covid protocol( masking etc) even if we are fully vaccinated, to avoid getting Omicron to the extent possible & to not contribute to the flooding of hospitals & swamping our healthcare system. Plz stay@home max possible. more
Rohit, people used singular nouns against such prediction made by members. Sobhita you are correct, we have no models to predict these public health issues Stay safe, take care are the guidance Thanks to you more
Concur with u Rohit. Some labs dont have latest test kits more
I am rather surprised that people keep on giving silly comments even when they know NOTHING about the subject. Please, let us control our urges to state things without confirming the same. Un-necessarily this creates confusion inn the minds of the public more
If we as people wont report such things they will never get investigated. If u just want to listen to govt announcements and not ground reality pls visit pIB website and learn who inaugurated what. more
What is wrong with you Sir? more
