The proceedings after the election showa that the will of the people does NOT MATTER - one minute after the results are declared. Shivsena IMMEDIATELY declared its intention to "think independently". NOW IT IS "TECHNICALITIES " used for power. The only remedy is -- anti-defection to be 100% STRICT. eVEN IF all decide to defect, they must seek re-election-- to know whether the people voted for the candidate or for the party. NO ONE ELSE CAN DECIDE ON THE ISSUE.

More than anti defection law, I feel there should be no scope now onwards for post poll alliances too (only pre-poll alliances should be valid and any post poll arrangements should be null & void). It will then reflect correctly on the citizens' mandate without giving any scope for manupulations after the poll results.

Everybody is acting for the self interest and not for the common people. Shiv Sena may not be mature, and capable and further lack of wisdom, knowledge and vision political party to run this great Maharashtra state so better to prevent coming to power but wise people should come forward to support worthy party and leaders. But now it is high time to think and find out the other system to run the state. Present democratic system to run the state adopted from the western country particularly from British has become rotten. The state should be run on the merit system.

THE BJP HAS SHOWN ITS DIRTY COLORS JUST TO GRAB POWER IN LEAGUE WITH THE BJP CONTROLLED GOVERNOR AND OTHER MONETARY MEANS. HORSE TRADERS FIRST CLASS. LOST THEIR CREDIBILITY , SHAMEFUL ACT . CANNOT GOVERN , ONLY PLAY DIRTY POLITICS. SHOULD QUIT

I think everybody has lost their credibility. They are just a bunch of opportunists who care only about themselves and not the people. Make enough money. What can the people do? Where is the democracy? The questions raised were right but can we the people do anything?
