Not just religious places, but Nature tourism is also badly affected by lack of equipment and discipline. Communities can do something about it if they have access to funds. Where is the Swachh Bharat Cess going? How can organisations access some of it? more

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. The government appointed caretakers of the temple should act. Either they require funding for cleaning or crew for it. The service minded elderly generation should help in respective localities. more
first and foremore thing, start from your household, tell your children, your wife, parents - not to throw garbage here and there, search for dustbin while travelling, till then keep waste polythenes, rappers in your bag. Then start clean drives from your society, RWAs with help of municipalities of your area, envolve some NGOs more
Dont take the law into our hands. Let us take the brooms and descend whereever there is filth and dirt and cleanit without waiting for someone else to do it. Dont say "it is not my job" act as you or I would .and lend a hand and clean it up. Dipak Himatsingka more
