Smooth Functioning of Parliament's Winter Session

The washout of the monsoon session of the parliament costed the taxpayer Rs 260 crores.

Over the next few days we will be conducting a set of polls to consolidate collective views on the subject and create broad awareness about them and sharing them with the Parliamentarians.

Meanwhile, we request you to share inputs on what the Government can do to ensure smooth functioning of the Parliament.

We look forward to your inputs!

P.S. The cost to tax payer does not include the potential economic loss due to the delay in approval of pending bills. more

The very big challenge of either congress and the BJP is who is going to rule the country when we reach 75 years??? When it comes to BJP the challenge is how they are going to pass the bills and take new initiatives with the support of the opposition parties especially with out giving bribe to any of the ministers. Now the only chance that the congress has in spite of all their scams( 2g, coal, etc people still remember all that), is to support the BJP's action if they take right decision so as to impress the people for their next election. This is just my analyses of the current situation. Others might have analysed in different way and better than me. more
The reason for introducing the bill will ensure, how useful it would be for the government, as well as the common people. Government should work for the welfare of the common people just because if their standard is increased, government need not contribute in the name of subsidy and other welfare schemes. We always say that if the bill is not passed nothing will stop functioning but the standard of the rules that is being followed will become a talk in the foreign countries. Will foreign tours of PM of India alone will get fame?? When PM initiates by meeting, it is the responsibility of the officers to implement, if not when India will become a developed country. We have traveled so many years after independence and in future we cannot blame Britishers for ruling the country for too many years. Now the responsibility lies in our side and the question will start by the British people that what steps was taken by the Indian rulers for 68 years. After 7 years, we will proudly celebrate 75th year. What will the speech by the President and PM of India on that day. My wish is the speech should be "Though British ruled India for so many years, we Indians could solve all the problems rooted by them, and has taken India to the next level". Will my dream come true??? more
Parliamentarians should remember that they are public representatives. Please exercise honour and respect for Parliamentarian because he has been elected by a fellow Indian. Political parties should not try to instigate and insult one another to evolve an excuse for non performance of a Parliamentary session. There are other venues where you can find out how many Rupees were made by Sushma Swaraj or how Vadra invested in Lands. In the Parliament you are supposed to work for our benefits and not your political parties. If the black money gone out, is not coming to India all Parliamentarians are responsible because they have not put their heads together more
Smooth Functioning of Parliament could be possible with the Intervention of President seeking weekly Business conclusions. This is a must and the needed , since , he himself is entirely the competitive authority in issuance of Ordinances to meet the requirement of public & Nation . He shall be so empowered too please . more
Our opposition member of parliament behave like rabid monkeys and dogs, They shout profanity, hurl their arms in threatening language, point fingers of accusation to ruling members of party (BJP), crowding around the speaker or climbing on their benches like monkey howling and climbing up on the tree.....the whole scene is extremely bad, chaotic and disrupting to the democratic way of parliamentarian debate and discussion. They should be heavily fine and rusticate or suspend from the parliament with fine and cut in their pay.!!!!!! more
