Chairman Smart City Faridabad, DC and Commissioner Police of Faridabad, have to together first spread awareness about citizen's contribution towards the cause, have exemplary punishment for defaulters and on immediate basis deal with the following- Garbage management, shabbily fixed electric meters on poles with wires running hay wire, strictly control movement of autos and rickshaws and seize autos and trucks without proper number plates.
The fear of law should be felt. Corruption should be tackled very seriously.
Major infrastructure work will only be appreciated once the above are managed well on war footing. more

I fully agree with the views and at the same time Smart city project should have policy and procedure in place and awareness programme .Strict penalty provisions like DMRC only then we can see success of the project. more

I fully endorse the views of the author that there should be fear of law. However, when the fear of law is not felt by those enforcement agencies then how the fear of law would be felt by the citizens. It gets diluted with money power and all the stakeholders in this law enforcement including the public representatives are responsible for such a situation. Self responsibilities and dedication is the only factor which can give you the quality and healthy system of living. more
