Service Provider Accountability - Inputs Sought

We have received many comments on independent service providers who promise a service, take advances and then either disappear or don't deliver the promised services. In such cases, the consumers
are almost always on the loosing end

We would like to seek your inputs on how an accountability system can be developed to hold independent service providers accountable. Something that discourages such behaviour.

The affected person can file a complaint before the Condmer Disputes Redressal Forum in every case of failure on the part of service providers. more

Service providers like MTS, Airtel take advance but do not deliver services. Even one lodges complaints, they close same by sitting in their offices without taking any correctice actions but keep on raising bills for services never provided by them. more

must bill and pay taxes. many providers give parchi.. and then give away with taxes. also, there has to the service provider registration number on their invoice and agreement etc. And customer can report grievance with that registration number online. Grievances must be heard online, no one has time to travel again n again and pursue issues. more

All the service providers should have a on-line system of recording the complaint against them which the public can view.The service provider should also indicate the action taken by them against these complaints.This way they automatically get rated by the consumers. more
