There should not be any service charges at any hotel or restaurant. Govt should ban these charges in black and white. Hotels are looting exorbitant prices for what ever we eat and force us to shell out these service charges additionally. The cost of items must be all inclusive exclusive of central or state taxes. more

Remove the service charge system totally. The amount is in any case not given to the waiters and the owners take the money. If a tip needs to be given let the customer give it directly to the customer. more
Service Charge at a moderate 3-4% should be okay. And restauranteurs should be made to have an separate account to deposit the same.Only then it shall benefit the waiters ,cooks and others employed at the restaurants. more
