Tamilnadu Govt. has permitted classes 10,11,12 to attend school from October 1st according to today' Hindu news. Higher class students to attend on alternate days ie 3 days a week . it will work out to 50% of students and staff . The other half to attend school on other 3 days of the week. We have to start at some time and slowly get used to living with an another Virus. With 6 months suffering , experience of safety norms it shouldn't be difficult for Schools to adhere strictly. In fact that is one way decipline can be instilled to maintain safety norms . Positivity rate as on 25th 6.4% in Tamilnadu.Goal is to bring down to 5%. May be the state is also likely to follow as the post quoted Global experts . This will be particularly applicable to the younger children. SMALL CHILDREN ARE SHORTER AND AS SUCH THEY WILL BE CLOSER THE FLOOR WHERE THE CORONA VIRUS SETTLES DOWN on the floor FROM THE AEROSOLS AFTER BEING AIRBORNE FOR SOME TIME. Even though the center has left the decision on Lock down and openup to the states, the states are under constant guidance from N.I.E. , ICMR . more
I have the same feeling like Mr Rajiva Singh and Mr Ramchandran M Nair. more
the protocol which has been followed in parliament must be adopted for all schools. no school should be reopened unless this is done. all students must be tested before and after school hours everyday. more
Schools should not open more
What a question? Hope some wise guy, or a super expert give us an answer. Being a grand parent I am worried. more
