Route diversion at MOHAN nagar
Though GHAZIABAD traffic police has made a good plan to avoid congestion at MOHAN nagar diversion, but they are not following what they have planned. As per plan, no buses and heavy vehicle will be allowed towards MOHAN nagar, but they are allowing it.
there is a bottle neck when you go down towards Mohan nagar from brij, cos before brij roads are wide and anyhow traffice adjusted to go up on brij after that brij roads are wide traffic again spread all over then again at turn there is bottle nech this is why so much traffic jam is there at mohan nagar, police should not allow to the encroachment in this area, Heavy should vehicles stoppage should be shifted little to solve this,

Can someone who have access to senior officials of the Ghaziabad Traffic Police raise the concerns. On day one I told one senior office manning the traffic about issue of mud lying on road after digging of stretch between kanwani puli to Budh Chowk of Vashundhara, and he said he will look into it. Due to that traffic is slow and resulting in traffic jam. Also I posted on facebook page of the Ghaziabad Traffic Police and they said action will be taken again heavy vehicles and buses who flout the rule but both type of vehicles travel in front of the police and still no action. Also heavy traffic from Bikaner roundabout should go straight to Karan Gate Police chowki but many times they take a right turn sector-5 mother dairy on the road passing infront of Jindal market/ Lajapt nagar and also passing in front of the shyam park extension police chowki but no police official tries to stop them Yes we have

to avoid congestion at mohan nagar what is required is 1. control auto and vikram , they should not stop where ever they feel like and force their vehicle in between other vehicles. this one single factor will control the congestion by 20% 2. stop vehicles being driven on wrong side , which is not only dangerous but adds to slowing the movement of traffic. this will help reduce congestion by 15% 3. control movement of vehicle in case of waiting on red light/top signal by traffic police, i mean if waiting at signal , vehicle specially 2 wheelers, taxis and autos should not jump the queue patiently wait , this it self will add to smooth flow of traffic by 10%. 4. vehicle waiting at signal should not cross the zebra lines and there by giving full moving space to other vehicles 5. pedestrian should not cause obstruction to free flow of vehicles if these measures are taken traffic will flow smoothly without much congestion. and if traffic is moving even with a slower pace person does not become impatience. will some one take note of this?

Metro in Ghaziabad is dream of every resident, and we should cooperate with traffic police's efforts for smoothening of traffic flow. In my opinion, signal free plan is very good if instructions are followed strictly i.e heavy vehicles should be kept of during busy roads at office hours. The lapse I found is-lack of enough signages for directing traffic. On first day, while travelling from U.P. Gate/Vaishali/Kaushambi towards Mohan Nagar and heading towards Ghaziabad, one could only come to know that he/she has to turn left and take U-turn opposite MMX and then go on smoothly, it is due to Signage put up just near Mohan Nagar dead-end. It would be better to put multiple signages right from begining of the flyover indicating direction to the traffic heading to Mohan Nagar. This would help educating travellers about the traffice plan.
