RERA issue

I booked a site in Prasiddhi nest, Unnathi group, Bangalore in 2014. An Agreement has been made in August 2015. According to agreement, Developer (Unnathi group) was supposed to provide the site within one year ( August 2016). The developer has not given the site till now. He is just dragging.

I complained about the same in RERA in the month of May 2018. RERA is also just dragging. I went to RERA office many times from Oct 2018. Whenever I go, they will assure me regarding the hearing within 15 days or in the next month. But hearing has not been initiated till now. This project is already under RERA investigations. Even after that they are not taking this case. Last time I went to 5th Jan 2019. The receptionist did not allow me to meet the secretary / Adjucating officer. According to her (Receptionist), you don't come here. your case will be taken.

This is RERA unregistered project.

What should we do? How long should we wait for this. Any suggestion please. more

RERA itself may be suitably be amended to have provision to protect the interests of the aggrieved as each of the remedies proposed by Mr.Abhishek Doshi not only takes long time but also entails heavy costs. Even though the remedy of getting RERA amended too may take several years to yield the desired, it may make sure that at least in other similar cases a proper remedy may come into being. more  
You have a recourse in the Consumer courts. Immediately file a case against them with all the details. You will have the option to withdraw from the agreement since the other side has failed to meet its obligations and should refund your amount in full. You can also claim interest and penal charges for the case. Consumers forums/courts are receptive to such complaints and generally will rule in your favor. So please go ahead with it. You can file on your own or employ a lawyer for this. I did and got my money back from a developer who tried playing tricks with me. more

real estate are all mafias, it better to negotiate rather than getting into legality. Case if filed will be in their favour, they are hand in hand with power lobby. you have personal meeting with the office holder and try to find some way more
