Regarding PF Withdrawal

I left my job with last job with UHG in Sept 2016. I applied for my PF Withdrawal in March & my ex employer submitted my claim to EPFO Gurgaon on 03/27/2017. EPFO uploaded the status on there website as received on 06/04/2017. Since then the status is same as - under process. I even raised a grievance against so long waiting & response I got is that -it will be settled shortly. The contact No. Given by my ex employer & at time of registering the complain is either bussy all the time or there is no one to answer the call.

Can anyone help me in getting this sorted out.

Maam, you can raise a query through their online portal, for which PFO need to give you a reply within a month..try that and you would know the status and as per my experience PFO is trying to settle employers money in the least possible time. Due to heavy inflow of withdrawls, it may take some time..may be another month max. more

Priy Ranjan ji, Regarding whatever I have observed is more than 3 months, in your case 2+ months. PF department is known for it's lethargic attitude. Govt is also not keen on improving it like Income tax, Railways, Postal services, Passport, since there is no revenue with pf it's only employee welfare. Anyway keep in touch with your regional pf office personally if you have time, else go with company's pf agent. Make sure no documents are missing or data in UAN portal is missing or misleading. If any discrepancy will further delay your withdrawal. Good luck. more

Dear Shishir , are you sure that interest is payable till the date of application i was told by my employer that interest is paid till they make payment, can any body clarify on this matter more
