The Prime Minister and our Chief Minister are giving wide publicity on digital transaction. But they are forgetting the rules that are already being in force. The Bankers or the agencies are giving troubles to the digital transactions. Let me share my experience with The Indian Oil Corporation. I am a consumer of Indane Gas. I booked a cylinder and made payment through online. The amount of cylinder is Rs.652.50. Bank charges are Rs.8.00. Total I paid Rs.660.50. On 15th of December this was done. I got an sms on 17th that Cash memo was generated for Rs.652.50. I denied the payment as I already paid through online. On this I contacted the dealer. He said that he had not received confirmation from the IOC. I took this to the IOC. They replied and asked the dealer to deliver the cylinder. But till now I had not received the cylinder and they are not telling about my booking and delivery. Here two issues are arising. One is Bank charges and the other is time delaying for online payment. The Government has to look into the matter and take necessary steps before asking the public to do digital payments. First of all they have to made changes according to their promises. more
It is the govt. institutions that are working against spirit of cashless transactions. Govt. is keeping eyes closed or is helpless. Too many online payment modes have cropped up in recent times with no guranttee of safety from frauds. Instead there should have been few options and better govt. control to build confidence. more
Booked railway tickets and retiring room through irctc. Bank charges full they levy all times Govt should view for omitting the charges for root out black money and corruption more
Effectively if the govt wants to promote cashless transactions, the govt should advise service providers either not to charge or it should either offer incentive by way of rebate in taxes or reimburse the same. My sincere suggestion is to govt to offer either rebate in taxex or reduce the taxes as cashless transactions will result in bringing more transparency and more transactions in the purview of tax authorities. more
I am not understanding that why the customer has to pay the bank charges to the bank, the dealer who is having the business with the bank has to pay any kind of charges to the bank on the transactions between the customer and the dealer. For example any bank account holder of any bank can use to transfer money upto one lakh through the RTGS need not pay any kind of charges to the bank and how the dealer or the bank can collect the charges from the consumers of the gas being used by him. more
Issues are announced before preparing for the proposed changes . best examples are ATM. They are not ready for the changes in the currency but the announcements came ahead of arrangements. We don't have sufficient no of POS machines but digitalisation is expected ovr night. so we have cart ahead of horses. more
