Reg: Competent Authority

Who are all the Competent Authority for EPFO.

In my office most of our employees are not educated and they born in village (in Home). They don't have education proof, Birth Certificate and Passport. after introducing Aadhar card most of their DOB is not matching with their PF.
Please help me on this. more

Please go their village meet the sarpanch or village officer get the credentials and correct date of birth in records. Some extent the problem can be solved. more  
I do agree with what Mr. Chatterjee has said in your case. You need to get notarised affidavits for uneducated employees to authenticate their DOB. Later make corrections to Aadhar date base with correct DOB. The same can be used to correct the things in PF. more  
you have great responsibility. please use correct date of birth and other details otherwise poor people will face big problem they may lose EPF. You may use aadhar card detail alongwith adhar number for correct data including DOB due to valid govt document. more

Please keep your employers informed and make all your efforts to correct your records and get the corrections done at EPF office and ensure receipt of an acknowledgement from EPFO for records of your organisation and employees. more

Your employees can take affidavit from Local government officials with authorized signatory. This may resolve the problem more  
Can contact notary dept in collectorate office. more
