REAL ESTATE ACT -DO NOT ALLOW THE STATE TO ALTER

THERE IS AN ATTEMPT BY THE BUILDER LOBBY TO SABOTAGE THE ACT AND MAKE IT CRIPPLED. THE ACT WAS PASSED BECAUSE THERE WAS A WIDE RANGE OF CHEATING OF THE DEVELOPERS AND INDIVIDUAL FLAT PURCHASERS WERE VICTIMS. NOW THE LOBBY THAT HAS CHEATED THE INNOCENT VICTIMS ARE TRYING TO INFLUENCE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE THE LAW APPLICABLE FROM A FUTURE DATE AND ONLY TO THE NEWLY COMMENCING PROJECTS. THAT MEANS PRESENT CHEATERS WILL GO SCOT FREE AND THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT VICTIMS WILL HAVE NO REDRESSAL UNDER PRESENT ACT. PLEASE RISE ON THE RIGHT OCCASION AND WRITE TO CM CELL TO IMPLEMENT THE CENTRAL ACT IN FULL FORM. more

What if the minister concerned is a partner of the big cheating builders, and let me tell you they are. Then why will they pass the bill ? The PMO should not allow this to happen and the bill should be passed forthwith to accomplish his vision of home for all. more
Minister in charge of Housing in Karnataka is from Real Estate background. Now the burden of implementing the Legislation in the State of Karnataka has placed him in awkward position. Though the Law and Parliamentary affairs Department is well prepared, the minister is dillydallying, because of the Real estate lobby. Let us wait and see the enactment. more
