Rating of Brands

I have been seeing many circle members complaining over the last year about builder, insurance, telecom and what not. Every body, kindly kindly please rate these companies who are cheating us left right and center via this brands rating link below:

I feel the only way to get them to really stop these malpractices is through lot of awarness creation so their business hurts. Otherwise they are not scared of Consumer Forums (many bribe judges/bureaucrats etc). If a builder's business goes down because 5000 people rated them terrible and 1M potential buyers came to know through local circles and then through other social networks by sharing this, consumer will win.

Just my views, hope everyone does his bit. more

Sector-wise complaints may be lodged with authorities concerned : DC/SDM,Municipal Commissioner, Police, Customs,Income Tax, SEBI,IRDA,Estate Office,TRAI++ more
The cheater or fraud can file a FIR against a person who have given Bad remarks on them or on their company, so we have to face all hassles and harassment and music, It has happened to me, I have been cheated by one company for about 6 lakhs (cheques have been bounced against good supplied), given a police complaint, police called us after 2 weeks and said he will give 2laks once in 2 months till he clear the dues and warned me to not post anything on social media. He is about file case against me if I don’t agree that word of settlement. But he has not paid dues at all and even that fraud is not appearing in the court also summon being served against him for 5 times since 1 year. This is the situation of the law and order in INDIA. So I believe posting on social media about Bad on some one else would create another issue more
Ms. Anshu, a good effort. Would suggest that complaints are taken area wise, eg., Real estate, retail, online purchases, online travels, etc. In the present anyways, a great effort, just needs some tweaking. more
In Bangalore no builder is straight forward. One cannot rely any builder completely. Until one books an order and pays an advance the builder will behave very nicely and politely. After one has paid the advance , the buyer is in the hands of the builder and thereafter the builder starts behaving in an atocratic manner. The buyer has no option but to dance according to the dictates of the builder. In almost all cases the builder does not build as per approved drawings. Before buying the buyer should verify the title and ownership of the land. The Bangalore municipal authorities have proved they are extremely corrupt. Many builders somehow manage to get approval and build and also sell the flats, but after sometime somebody finds that the land belongs to sombody else or to government. The government then starts demolishing the flats. Nobody catches the officials who illegally authorised the construction or the builder. The ultimate sufferer is the flat buyer. more
