RAILWAY ISSUES
1. Booked one 1st AC tkt from DADAR-CHAMPA by 12809 HWH Mail on 13/07/19 PNR 8217815147.I am a sr.citizen. I was allotted upper birth in cabin H. But can anybody imagine that the remaining three births in the cabin were empty right from dadar to champa; no one boarded !!!! Can anybody from railways explain?
2. STOP the practice of collecting feedback about cleaning by the contractor himself. He comes with a format and tries to impose " you just give your pnr & signature ; rest we will fill up". The feedback collection should be by railways not the contractor.
3. While booking a concession ticket the break up of ticket price after the concession is applied should be available. I was trying to book one 1AC ticket from bilaspur-csmt by 12262 duronto. The normal fare is 4420/-( Base fare 3798/- + 622/- other charges).The fare being shown after sr.citizen concession is 2825/-. After quite a number of attempts I could not arrive at the concessional fare. This lack of clarity should be immediately liquidated.

I feel the Railways are just fooling common passengers, senior citizens. Besides, when the tickets are booked ONLINE, additional charge of Rs.30/- is levied towards transaction charges, Whereas our PM is trying to DIGITIZE the entire operations in our country. Under the circumstances, why this additional charges on when tickets are booked ONLINE by Credit/Debit cards?

My mother is 65, and she got UB too during her last two train journey... even though you fill the form so carefully on IRCTC, you will be surprised after the ticket is generated every time.

God only knows the dynamics of railway running. i have also suffered many times last 1-2 years. I fully endorse and support the views expressed . actually I even lodged the complaint but no acceptance that something wrong had happened or will be prevented in future. It is complete junle raj

Yes,I agree to it. Earlier the rule was changed women above 45 were given lower berth. But these days they are giving Upper and middle berth to senior citizens but when you board the train you will see younger men and women have been allotted lower berth. Why this is so?

Dynamic fare should be abolished. Rlys sell tkts @10% premium once 10% tkts are sold. Similarly premium is 40% of base fare when 40% tkts are sold. This is robbery. Why charge 40% extra to one who buys 1 week ahead instead of 4 weeks ? If Rlys want to do what pvt sector does then improve your efficiency also to their levels.
