PUBLIC ROLE

We can't leave all the problems to be sorted out by Govt---police/MCD etc. Society have also some responsibilities to all these matters.Collective efforts by public is also a way to sort out these problems.
Problem arises when some persons oppose the actions taken by public on so called 'mercy for animals' ground.
Five to Six person are enough to control a dog or a monkey. we can unit to control all such problems.
We should be aware of and we should be active. more

WE are trying our best Mr. Sethi. Thank You more
Try your luck kids. Dogs will always stay rightfully where they are more
I suggest that we request all our friends on LC to sign it and also send a request to all their friends on face book to sign. It would help. And maybe it would help to send a request to all our local circles we are members of so that all those members may sign and also request their contacts on Facebook to sign. It would definitely help. more
I have signed it. I have also sent it to 70 of my friends to do so. Some have already done it. Great initiative Arvinder. The dog photo was great. more
I like that. But how would we fight the Supreme court ruling that start a dogs cannot be removed by the MCD ( as they were doing earlier ). We had taken this up strongly with the MCD, and their van had come, and their people told us that they can only neutralise the stray dogs and give them anti rabbies injection, but cannot remove them because of the ruling. One local NGO's rep fighting for these stay dogs to remain stray and put the fear of death in the children was also there. How to take care of this legal hurdle ? They can be adopted but not send to the government kennel. The dogs being sold are kept in the kennels - no problem, but if we talk of stray dogs No - it inhuman to keep them in the government kennels. Difficult to understand the law. Any ideas... more
