Kindly examine this attached. Price of bajaj mixer MRP 3499 before GST reduction on 25th July continues to remain same in August at 3499.

Raise the issue with Company as well as GST Authorities. Company bound to pass on benefits to Consumer. Else lodge your complaint with Dept of Consumer Affairs - Site details "http://bit.ly/consumer-community" also available in this circle. more

It is not expected from companies like Bajaj Electricals. Let the GST profiteering cell initiate action against such companies. more

Let's be logical. A product has GST x% when it goes out from a manufacturer to distributor/dealer/retailer and all have billed based on the current GST rate. All the parties have availed ITC in the respective month of sale. Latter Govt revised GST from a date. As per finance bill / GST rules it has to be effected for billing of the products from that date. Thus MRP printed on an item can not be revised, for which GST has already been paid. If I am wrong, any CA can enlighten us. more

Wonder why Bajaj Electricals have not announced the reduction in price due to GET? Besides it is not clear if the old product before GST came to effect , gets the benefit of tax reduction for the stocks kept with stockists/retailer. I feel the buyer has to ascertain the facts before buying as he will become the loser when such transitions take place. more
