Priorities of state government -does it exist?
With big fanfare the new governments announce a lot of welfare measures ,reforms soon after they come to office.In course of time they continue to dish out funds for non plan to show their large hearted ness .Soon they end up with out adequate funds for any project.This is the true reflection of the present government.
Citizens hoped that basic needs will be catered and quickly we can rise up at national level,but it can't be!
The need of the hour is roads ,water (clean drinking)and clean air(swatch Bharat abhiyan).
None is funded adequately.
The non priority items of double bed rooms flats,Bhavans( for all castes),cash awards to celebrities,building new secretariat,new staff quarters and celebrations religious and gifts based on religion has been going on with out even thinking .
Constantly waiting to hear from center even for basic needs reflects out hollow ideas.The govt is under obligation to keep some money for emergencies like calamities -the roads need about 2000 crores after recent rains.
Blaming others like rains,central govt and floods can not white wash the lapses.
GHMC lending money to RTC is Injudicious when the return of loan is doubtful.
What is the role of GHMC? Construction of Two bed room flats ?
Citizens are dis appointed at the noises made by authorities when confronted for basic needs.There is no excuse for in action .All other activities can be held in abeyance and priorities must be identified and needs to be fulfilled.
The confidence of citizens is getting eroded slowly. more

I agree with Mr.Prabhakar Rao's comments and concern for the Roads/ Clean Water for drinking. Also it is noticed in many areas about Drainage / Sewage water over flowing on roads and causing lot of inconvenience especially to the Pedestrains. Govt/ GHMC staff never taking any strong measurements to curb the issue at once. Because of bad roads it is taking lot of time& hardship to reach the destinations. The Best Alternative to solve above issues are - Privitisaton -so that common man can lead a smooth life. Jaishankar damaraju. more

It is time that the present state government has to take care of the badly needed clean air,water ,roads ,if not the Delhi emergency about environment will be recreated here.The dusty ,the foul smelling air currents and the open garbage burnings ,the construction sites polluting the surrounds is a nightmare if the govt does not give top priority to this fundamental right of the citizens. more

It is high time we should find a means to expose the happenings to common man and plead as well awaken him against the happening. You know Judge is being impeached for his forthright comments about reservations which are harming Indian Peoples life and dividing Hindus. Politicians want - unbridled reservations for another 1000 years even if the country goes to dogs or total Hindus die. more
