POWER BILLS WITH REVISED TARIFF

I have received September Bill with revised power tariffs. My consumption is above 500 units/month. The final bill amount rate comes to Rs10.19/unit, this includes Rs 1.74 on account of Sundry charges/Allowances.This increase is mind boggling. If other consumers have also received the bills , they can share their views to raise this unjustifiable issue with DHBVN. more

So with Sh Mohit post, it is now obvious that some members who reported inflated power bills, must have been due to some other reasons or an error and the matter should have been taken up with the authorities. more

To under stand the tariff .please go to DHBVN web site or haryana electricity regulator commission and see circular dt may 2015 .The slabs are 0-50 Rs 2.70 , 51-100 Rs 4.50 catagory 1 In catagory II 0-250 Rs 5/- , 251- 500 Rs 6.05/- and 501 & above Rs6.75. This is excluding Fuel surcharge M.Tax etc. more

I agree with Mr. Sunil. We must get together and approach HERC/DHBVN else they will continue with all these charges. My bill works out to Rs. 10.15 per unit including all charges/taxes. There are no arrears in it. more
