He has been suspended but his actions require an FIR should be registered against him and he be penalized. He was not in uniform and just went arbitrarily throwing away items and overturning even carts covered which were not operating. It looks he was out to make quick money and vented his ire when his demands were not met. Suspension is to his benefit, he gets to stay home, no duty and half pay. After some time he will be reinstated. As responsible citizens we should keep a tab and after this pandemic is over an RTI should be filed to know what action has been taken so that such people learn a lesson and the force is also sensitised. more
