pain in her left knee

My wife has developed pain in her left knee. When we approached a local orthopedic he had an X-Ray done and intimated that the gap in the knee has reduced. He has suggested physiotherapy which we are getting for the last almost three months but the progress is very slow. The physiotherapist says that we have to continue the therapy only then she will be able to walk. Please suggest us what to do? more

If my mail is understood correctly, i ceratinly do not recommend only bracing as a mode of treatmrnt , as i have tried many including the best ones and extremly expensive with no significant benifits , i hope ms singh shd understand that explainations she has given for intraarticular injections are not true at all it is a recommended method of treatment followed worldwide at the best centres , i am sometimes amused with the treatment recommendations given on these social site , they may be not only be false but misguiding , i only try to supplement my suggestions whenever i feel the need to help purely .God Bless more
