Noida must not get ODF certificate
Noida Authority has sought Recommendation of UP Govt to get a Open Defecation Free certificate from swachh bharat mission.
Please note that Noida Authority is lying as people in even urban sectors are defecating in open. I live in Sector 93 where one can observe open defecation in early morning hours. If you take a walk down the street to Sector 93B there is plenty of open defecation happening in forest and even by roadside.
Till Noida Authority stops this the city cannot and should not get any ODF certificate.
If its given many like me will start to believe that SBM gives false certificate and many of the numbers presented by them are bogus.
I will also share this in SBM circle so it reaches the officials.
Do the work and then claim the ODF certificate. I would love for my city to be ODF- not there yet. more

I am of the opinion that liers must not be tolerated. please do come and visit the sector 62 in and around the village Ruslpur nawada, you will find that the officers asking for their certificate will shy themselves, choked drains, open wastage behind the B block market in sector 62,. Back side of Noida one project in B block sector 62 is full of garbage, inner roads of village are also not cleaned,. People have made rampa on the roads,. Primary school is being used as parking place. more

I fully agree. Not only Noida authority, its' almost similar story for all authorities. They are trying to get bugus certificates. Even Ghaziabad Authority has similar tale. It has declared the ODF but you can see the people defecating in the open aside to Green belt in Indirapuram daily in the morning. The mobile toilets are not being kept hygienic. Same is happening at many more places. more

I agree with Mr Parasher. The toilets constructed by NOIDA Authority are not maintained properly. Hence the people get prompted to defecate or urinate in open. Another problem is that NOIDA authority is allowing unauthorised clusters of Jhuggies in green areas. The people living there defecate in open. There are such unauthorised Jhuggies and meat shops near Kendriya Vihar, Sector-51 which are not removed by NOIDA authority because they regularly pay bribe to concerned officials. all these are source of filth generation. Hence ODF certificate will be farce. more
