MPLAD Funds Deployment - Inputs

Every MP is granted 5 crores in MPLAD funds to deploy in their constituencies. At the end of year 1 per media, 85% of MPLAD funds were reported to be unspent.

We have suggested previously that MPs must get and stay connected with their constituencies to understand issues and improve situation on ground.

With this post, we seek your inputs on how MPs should deploy these funds in their constituencies and how they can work with citizens on the ground.

This will enable us to not only give them a blueprint of why they should connect with citizens but also how MLPAD should be deployed.

We look forward to your inputs! more

What we see in daily life is near absence of MP's from their area. They should be identifing Colonies/Villages/Areas wherein they should be visiting once a month/Bimonthly as the case may be & inform well in advance. This will help in local representative meeting them and their understanding of problem & ways of spending MPLAD fund. I have never seen my MP in last 1 year, ever in my area, when I am sitting in Delhi. Situation in Rural area must be really bad.... more
If MPs fail to perform as desired from them then stop their perks at least some of their perks be linked to their performance as is being done in case of executives for their variable pay more
Dear Mr Rajendra Pratap Gupta my comments on this has been deleted of course it should be having your support for it.Till now I thought this forum is doing good job and seriously thought it is for clean Govt but deleting my comments have proved beyond doubt that this forum is not serving the intention with which it has been commissioned. Better close this site and stop cheating people. On Sunday, 28 June 2015 2:45 PM, Rajendra Pratap Gupta wrote: more
These suggestions are from my staff from NIMRसांसद निधि में जो फंड सांसद निधि में जो फंड आता है वो चरणबद्ध तरीके से जरूरत के अनुसार, खर्च करना चाहिए सांसद के फंड में सीवर, नाली, खरंजा,पटरी,रोड,पार्क, सामुदायिक भवन, बारात घर, नलकूप व पंचायत घर आदि बनवाने और रिपेयर करवाने का बजट आता है कोई भी नाली, खरंजा या पार्क आदि बनवाने से पहले आम जनता की राय अवश्य लेना चाहिए इससे ये पता लग जाएगा कि इन सब में कौन सा काम ज्यादा आवश्यक है उस काम को पहले करवाएँ इसी क्रम में बजट के अनुसार दूसरा व तीसरा काम करवाएँ | सांसद को बच्चों के खेलने के लिए पार्क पर विशेष रूप से ध्यान देना चाहिए कारण कि आज-कल लोगों के -घर छोटे होते हैं, गलियाँ छोटी होती हैं, रोड छोटे होते हैं जिसके कारण बच्चे खेल नहीं पाते और उनका समुचित विकास नहीं हो पाता | सांसद निधि से जो भी काम होता है क्षेत्र में उसके प्रति जनता और सांसद दोनो में सामंजश होना चाहिए अगर ठेकेदार के द्वारा कोई काम करवाया जा रहा है तो ये देखना दोनो कि ज़िम्मेदारी बनती है कि ठेकेदार कैसा मेटेरियल लगा रहा है ईट, रोड़ी, बदरपुर कितना डाल रहा है, सीमेंट कितना डाल रहा है | अपने क्षेत्र में अगर कोई प्रतिभावान,होनहार बच्चा हो, उसके परिवार कि आर्थिक स्थिति दयनीय हो तो ऐसे बच्चे कि मदद सांसद निधि से करनी चाहिए ताकि वो बच्चा पढ़-लिख कल को अपने पैरों पर खड़ा हो सके और परिवार व क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन करे| गाँव या कालोनी में ऐसा गरीब परिवार हो जो अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति के कारण कन्या का विवाह करने में अ समर्थ हो,सांसद निधि से ऐसे परिवार कि सहायता करनी चाहिए ताकि उसका जीवन ब्यर्थ न जाए | more
