Modiji's Suit & Arrogance

I read with a certain degree of amusement about some of the reasons of the defeat in Delhi being:

01. Modiji's suit, &
02. Arrogance

When u go to a still lake, which has earned a reputation of being still, u will probably have to wait hours for a fish to jump out or someone to throw a stone to trouble the still waters.

A admirer of the lake will go to the lake to enjoy it's stillness. Whereas the cynic will go to watch for any signs of disturbance. The cynic will wait and wait for hours, for a fish to jump out of water, and then, when he indeed sees a fish, he will jump saying, 'Look the lake is not still'. And the rogue himself will deliberately throw a stone in the still lake and shout, 'look the lake is not still'. In fact, he will say, 'Look, I said. The lake was never still.'

Likewise, Shri Modiji is the still lake. The cynics r those who r commenting about Modiji's suit, and the rogues r the Media and the Opposition.

What is wrong regards Modiji's suit???

01. Is it wrong that he purchased one such suit for himself?
02. Is it wrong that it was gifted to him?
03. Is it wrong that, he wore it, whether, he purchased or gifted to him?

But before that, when the issue of the suit came out, how many knew whether the suit was gifted or purchased by his own money? The issue that, it was gifted to him just came out now.

I like everyone, thought, it was purchased by him. So, what is wrong if he purchased?

He is a person who has no family, no wife and children (who r the biggest inspiration and reasons of corruption of a man). He has been a CM for 12yrs, and now a PM since almost 9 mnths. Isnt he earning so much that he can indulge on a 10 lakh (if that is the real cost as claimed by media) suit for himself?

An ordinary person will invest lakhs on his wife's jewellery, which will be shown off by his wife in parties. He will buy the latest model of car or bike to his kids, which will be shown off by them to friends. He will gift himself the latest model car, or phone, which he will show off to his friends and relatives. He will buy the latest TV, Leather Sofa, ACs, refrigerator, teak beds and table sets, all with a combined worth in lakhs. Heck, I have furniture in my house worth lakhs, jewellery of my wife and kids, I cant disclose.

I and any ordinary person can do all this, but, Shri Modiji cannot indulge himself on a suit tailor made for himself???

Isnt this hypocrisy at it's peaks???

Regards arrogance, there is a saying in Telugu (my mother tongue), which I am sure cannot be understood by dim-witted North Indians, that, Arrogance of a Strong Willed and Honest Man increases his aura. In other words, A Strong Willed and Honest Man shud be arrogant. Period!!!

And, why not??? A person who is Strong Willed, dedicated, committed and honest person like Modiji, if he isnt arrogant, who can be??

If, a headstrong, secular and false Media Anchor, or the head of a Secular Party, or a Socialite or a rich Industrialist's son can be arrogant, why not Shri Modiji?

Why just the above examples. In fact the people of Delhi who have not voted for BJP in spite of BJP bringing in the promised Achhe Din, have displayed their arrogance along with ignorance combined, which have 67 out of 70 seats to an anarchist party.

Now, Delhi will pay and suffer for this arrogance!!!! more

Praising Modi ji and justifying his suit etc. are fine. If BJP is an honest party, least I expect them to declare source of their funding so that we can understand that they really believe in honest means to honest ends. more
DEAR SURYA RAO JI, THANKS FOR THE NICE ANALYSIS OF THE SUIT ISSUE. NARENDER BHAI MODI IS A TRUE SAINT. HE HAS HONORED, HIS FRIEND IN ACCEPTING AND WEARING THE SUIT GIFTED TO HIM, ON THE OCCASION OF HIS SON'S WEEDING. ANY PERSON WITH EVEN NORMAL SENSITIVITY WILL DO IT. THE LOOSERS, WITH FOREIGN GEENS CAN GO ANY LENGTH TO DOWN GRADE THEMSELVES AND READ FOOLISH SPEECHES WRITTEN BY OTHERS. BUT DEAR RAO SAHIB, YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF A NORTH INDIAN BRAIN NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. "Regards arrogance, there is a saying in Telugu (my mother tongue), which I am sure cannot be understood by dim-witted North Indians, that, Arrogance of a Strong Willed and Honest Man increases his aura. In other words, A Strong Willed and Honest Man shud be arrogant. Period!!! " WE ALL INDIAN HAVE BRAINS DEVELOPED OVER CENTURIES. NORTH INDIA HAS SONS OF SOIL LIKE LORD RAMA, LORD KRISHNA, ACHARYA CHANKYA, ACHARYA BALKRISHAN, SWAMI RAMDEV ETC. ETC. I THINK BY ARROGANCE, YOU MEAN SELF PRIDE. ARROGANCE IS A NEGATIVE QUALITY. A SELFLESS PERSON LIKE OUR GREAT PM CANNOT BE ARROGANT. OTHERWISE, WE HAVE A VERY STRONG APPRECIATION OF YOUR FEELINGS. ALL TRUE PATRIOTIC INDIANS MUST JOIN TO DEFEAT THE ILL DESIGNS OF FOREIGN HANDS FUNDING AND SUPPORTING ANTI MODI AND ANTI STRONG INDIA CAMPAIGNS. more
All are analysing Delhi election results and listing various reasons! But they overlook one and only one reason and that is valid reason!Shifting of Congress votes to AAP!(15%shift) BJP still have their share almost intact! There is nothing else! And therefore, BJP is not concerned about such analysis, but only have to work to improve their share! more
The discussions on this issue of PM coat is a media gimmick to earn money! Today, Modiji has been used by all for their own benefits-be it media, political parties and/or indivisuals! Earlier all of them getting their return silently or to keep them silent! Now this is stopped! But how to earn and continue to earn? Let us invent a method! And we have it!se Modiji for every thing and sensationalise it to such that all deprived of earlier priviledges are some how benefitted in their own ways including getting votes! Look at this situation! And by end of the day, what is the outcome for the benefit of poor, people of India, or to improve economy, to reduce pollution, to ensure cleanliness, for punctual running of trains, for corruption free distribution, for good roads, for education, for healthcare and the list goes on? Nothing!after spending so many valuable manhours of very intelligent, and experienced people taking part in such debates/discussions? It is surprising that many prominent people including grat analysts, observers, economist devote their valuable time in such debates wasting their talents, usefulness, and undermining their capacities and capabilities! And who are the real beneficiaries? Only Medias! So the time has come for all of us to check/evaluate first potential outcome/benefits to society, of such debates/discussions on any such issues in terms of usefulness/benefits, then only people must participate! We must admire only one wise person-our present PM for his actions on this matter, who did not utter a single word in this matter but successfully collected more than Rs.4.0 crores for a noble cause of Ganga cleaning!!!! My fellow citizen learn from him how to maximise returns for people benefits! The real WINNER in this is he-Mr. Modiji!! more
Hello Surya Raoji, Your comment is so stupefying! Even our PM will put question marks (?) to your points so elaborately mentioned. It is not the question of his suit but the value/cost. Do you know the basic necessities to lead a comfortable and decent life? It is the question of HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH for all rich people worldwide; in this case Indians. And this exactly what our PM is trying to do away with - the mentality of accumulating wealth. It is the social acceptance that he is trying to focus. Therefore, please do not try to justify this because he has realized that he has to continue with his great mission to change the face of our country and, as such, auctioned it. There has to be a limit for everything. It is not the question of having 1 car but 3 or 4 cars; it is not the question of having 1 or 2 pieces of jewellery but 5/6 items…the list goes on. If one has wealth in excess, one must not try to accumulate more but understand their citizens’ difficulties and share with them. Therefore, this type of writing will not help. If you have something in excess – may be money, jewellery or any other items - contribute some to the welfare of our society and help our PM in realizing his dream. The most important change our PM is trying to bring is not only economical but also a social change especially among the Hindus to unite their people as one! For me all parties are the same. It is the performance that counts - how they respond to our genuine problems. THE REAL POWER IS, OF COURSE, IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY. Jai Hind! more
