Misleading and Surrogate Advertising

Attached ad of Rafael Pan Masala being shown. It is ridiculous that these pan masala people are still being allowed to advertise. They say ad is for pan masala but then when consumer is attracted to buy pana masala also offer tobacco pan masala.

In corona lockdown, all gutka was banned but now again its available.

Is the Govt not serious about cancer in India? If not u can keep going as is but if not then this must stop and the starting point is the factories in UP that produce pan masala. Billionaires at the cost of peoples life.

Also this is misleading ad as it says Rafael which is Indias new figher
Jet, but sells pan masala more

WHEN GOVT. CAN ENFORCE LAW OF HELMET FOR THOSE RIDING TWO WHEELERS WHY CANT THEY STOP PRODUCTION, TRANSPORT AND DISTRIBUTION OF TOBACO. POLITICAL WILL IS NOT THERE BECAUSE PERHAPS THEY HAVE A STAKE IN IT. I AM OF THE VIEW THAT TOBACO/GUTKA ETC. SHOULD BE TOTALY AND EFFECTIVELY BANNED. RYK. more
Once again I will say that Government is not a solution for all the problems. Try doing your own teaching through schools and communities. more
Governments are only worried about revenue and not health of citizens. Tabaco products fetch money to all stakeholders and will sell if available, even if there is no advertisement. People should understand and take care of their own health. Even those who know that it is dangerous to health, do not bother as they have in to a habit of using it. Parents are also responsible in not educating their children. more
Expecting or inviting Government in everything is incorrect. We need to go over to Social bans. Most of hotels and bars have become non smoking in last one year, as customer started asking for clean ambiance. more
Buy 5 packets and take receipt . Then file a case in the District Consumer Forum for the misleading ad.Two or three(?) of the samples may have to be submitted to the court. This is the only way to stop high level of corruption and high-handedness of the business people in India. more
