Milk Prices and Lower Middle/Lower class impact

I was sent this link below by a friend who is active here Shri Rajesh Suri

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/milk-price-survey

The survey is very realistic when it says 1 in 3 households are downgrading their milk or cutting on quantity they buy.

The Government must pay attention to this and try to do whatever possible so children are not deprived of milk in rural and semi urban India due to high prices.

Something should be mandated so CSR funds can go towards this while ensuring the milk producers are not Profiteering more

Government must practice good welfarism, so that fiscal measures are used to bring people out from poverty. Remove subsidies that were started for a different purpose logistics to transport essential commodities over long distance, but now only benefit the privileged, for example on diesel, when capitalists are manufacturing and rich buying, see the SUV sales, causing so much pollution. The US realised this 18 years back, and have priced gasoline cheaper than diesel. Top 98 richest Indians own wealth equalling that sustaining 55.2 crore of the poorest. Not everyone does philanthropy the way Tatas do. Government can surely take up the slack. more
Why not we talk of Population Explosion? When 80 Crore People are getting Subsidies, where is the money left for other works? No body is serious about this issue. Unless this is done we will deteriorate every Year. Do not Expect any Relief from any corner. more
if I go for root cause analysis I find: 1. farmers always want more. 2. analyze what they get a) loan at very low interest b) subsidies' at various level c) easy admission to their children's d) loan waiver 3. farmers resistance to up date themselves 4. this continues for decades not years. question?? question is if we stop it OR say U pay first & it will be returned. things may improve but who will bell the cat??????? this is reason we pay for farmers & cry & cry only more
Time to change the insensitive government. This government is like a butcher . No hesitation in killing own people. Tax ,Tax ,tax everywhere tax in the name of development. Shame on government. more
My house maid of 2.5 years got two small children. She says she has completely stopped buying milk as it is too expensive for her now after the price rise. She was filled with rage at the present government who has brought her to such a situation. This is the worst scenario in our country with so many poor people and common man hit by this increase in basic requirements. If we want the real ground reality, we should talk to the common man instead of looking at statistics or talking about past governments. Let's look at the current scenario and the current government who is inflicting so much grief on the poor, lower middle class and even the senior citizens of the country who have been deprived of many facilities. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting nowhere and the elderly are left on the road to fend for themselves. Tomorrow the government will levy GST on water too and there is nobody to stop them. To manage the family, the poor will resort to robbery and looting so crime will increase in the country. Very sad state of affairs. more
