Vishal Khanna ji may like to clarify, Any investor is supposed to invest after adequate due diligence on a proposal by a Business Group or individual. Investor in general will look for how the projected revenues are going to happen and generally it is assessed on the basis of ongoing businesses at a particular place or country. What most of the time investors/lenders ignore the uncertainties and that too on the strength of Borrower. On the other side Borrower does not like to balance the business proposal in a sensible manner considering the needs of its prospective customers and a sensible level of customer satisfaction. Under such circumstances returns are going to be affected adversely and before it happens the original Borrower sells the business either in the form of public shares or other business buyers. The above is expressed what I have been noticing in India. Long term strategy in business is neither presented nor analysed causing Bad Loans to be shared by General Public as liability. Whole scenario as observed promotes corruption and contributes adversely to economic situations.
