Make Consumer affairs better

Providing good customer service means not only knowing what customers want and provide better services. The situation demands to anticipate the needs of the customers & provide better facilities.

Positive surprises: Little extra that will bring positive feeling to the customers to make happy customer. The feedback of happy customer will create more customers.

Consistency: This is a key component in customer service. Not only does it build trust and loyalty when a customer perceives business as consistent and predictable, but customers will often choose the known option over the unknown one.

Value : Customers judge value in a number of ways. A customer will be delighted if staffs is friendlier, product & service qualities are good & the customer wants and expects the value for money.

Speed and Communication :
No one likes waiting for negligence of staff member to take notice of him. Attending to customers quickly and updating them when things have to move a little more slowly will have positive feeling. Updates are especially important either by personal contacts or a quick phone call or email.

Sense of Importance :
Customers want to feel as if they are important for the business. Customers should be treated with courtesy, respect & politeness. Also, when dealing with an angry or difficult customer, it is vital to keep own emotions in check. Reply in anger may feel good for a moment, but it only escalates the situation. more

Happy to know the new activity/Issue "Make Consumer Affairs Better" is started and thanks for my enrolment in this new Circle G.K.Naidu, Hyderabad more
Ultimately Customer satisfaction is important. I agree with the points as suggsted by Mr Ghosh.Product quality , behaviour of sales persons , time and Service after sales are quite important. Customers should keep the reords of warranty cards /gauranty cards and Bills/Recipts for future G.K.Naidu, HYDERABAD more
Packaging : In FMCG items eg biscuits, toothpaste, bath soaps etc a trend has been set by most large manufacturers to reduce the quantity of product per pack. They talk of holding the price line, but at Consumer's cost. Odd weights eg 113gm/57gm etc are seen and Consumer can not really compare the price put by various producers. Some norms need to be fixed for package size of every consumer item, either in weight or numbers, and enforced on all manufacturers. Misleading Ads : A ban on misleading ads is necessary to protect consumers.Someone says"biscuit mein maida kha rahe ho " and offers atta biscuit. But that too has only small proportion of atta and mainly maida. There are other similar ads too. more
Thank you very much for your kind advice. The customer satisfactions are the real strategy of the happy. Somebody the seller, they will care their own profit enough. That is not the future movement. Thank you. more
