Live Train accident in Amritsar
So so sad to see how life has no value in our country. Probably wasnt Railways mistake but when such a large gathering was there why did the local DM, SP in Punjab not bother to ensure if the spot was authorised for effigy burning. Suicidal. more

Crowd management at festivals like Dussehra, Ramleela and at rallies is now a big task. Due to increase in population, scores of people gather and become a part of uncontrolled crowd. Every authority and public at large should be careful while attending events of huge gathering. Nevertheless condolences to effected families. more

It is really tragic incident. why such things are happening. 1)Gathering on railway track is an offence.2)lack of control by the local authority. 3) How such a big event conducted without any permission.4) where was the police? what they are doing?5) the drivers can see the gathering public on the tract, can't they control the speed of the train and blow horn? 6) As a matter of fact the nearby railway station masters know the event it is not a secret event and they might have cautioned the drivers as well higher ups. All these contributed for the tragic incidents. Who is responsible Public(gathered on the railway tract),Local authorities,railway authorities, political leaders or the police???????? However the tragic incident costed so many human lives which cannot be bring back at any cost. At least by now the concerned authorities should know their responsibility. more

I cannot understand how this same ritual is going on for so many years without any incident at the same place? Why this time? Something to ponder with. Please do not rule out anything. Being an Indian myself I feel Indians are no fools. One off incident I understand is possible but at this scale, no way. It has a deeper ramification. Please search for deeper cause. more
