Lets Wake up from Slumber
Friends, why is everyone not polling their views on odd even. I am a big supporter of it and we should have this in Gurgaon. It will be big relief from traffic stanpoint. Please vote and lets get police to implement this.

this is bad idea... vehicles cause 6% pollution while 94% pollutants come from chemical factories. Today it is Odd-even; tomorrow it will be male-female and day after it will be young-old ,,,, stop it please

I am not in the agreement that to improve traffic jam solution we should go for Odd-even formula. Do you know real reason behind traffic jam. 99% traffic jams happened because of no traffic sense in motorist. Almost 99.99% motorist are know how to hold steering but does not have knowledge on road rules and regulation or trying to ignore. Your solution is like that one person is having bad stomach and we are suggesting him don't eat and drink anything. Come on gentleman, before suggesting anything one should do basic analysis. I could quote good example e.g. In Indian people don't know how to pass crossings even after having lights and this can be visible on Sohna Road. Now only traffic jams happened at Vatika Chowk, South City , Subash Chowk and Rajeev Chowk (it is partially crossing). Before that Fazilpur and Tikli were biggest mess but after closing and shifting turns, problem resolved even after same vehicular movement.

Dear Mr. Vinay Sen, We should try to improve public transport first. There is zero public transport in Gurgaon this is called millennium city...... Only taxi and auto available. But these facility is very costly to general public. We should write to authority to start buses like DTC delhi...

I think we can start by following lane & traffic discipline, stopping at signals, not honking. Govt will talk a lot, but do little, and that too, too late. Time we took things on hand ourselves.

Vinay Sen,I notice you are on LAW AND ORDER IN GURGAON.I do not think in a city which is as chaotic as Gurgaon,with next to no public transport,this is feasible.You obviously do not know of the murders that have happened to people who in desperation(because of near zero public transport) hitched rides in Innova cabs.Gurgaon has a huge dust pollution problem partly because of unpaved roads and majorly because of construction(also green norms are not necessarily followed ).Vehicular pollution yes but Gurgaon is still less congested(except in old Gurgaon,I think) than Delhi.But since you are so keen why don't you go and cast your vote on this poll in the Law and order forum?
