Legal Metrology Controllers - will you not act
See the 2 images please. Online sites are still shamlesssly levying gst on discounted price and legal metrology officials are not enforcing. Do we need to go to the PMO for someone to act. Come on!! more

First of all please ensure about the provisions in GST Rules about discounted prices. Without knowing the provisions there is no point in making hue & cry on the issue. more

People should be imparted education on Consumer Laws framed by Government and various Court verdicts. Otherwise it will serve no purpose as a whole. Some conversant people may at times be benefitted but it will not serve it's actual purpose so long society does not get benefit. more

There are numerous decisions by local consumer courts and landmark decision on WOODLAND by National Consumer Redressal Commission that GST or any other tax can not be charged as MRP is inclusive of all taxes. You may reply them and if needed, the copy of decision would be sent to you. you can send the copy of above reply from concerned website to Legal Metrology department at Ministry of consumer affairs ministry for necessary action. more
