Keep Delhi Noida border shut
Gurgaon had 68 cases in one day after they opened the Delhi border. All over the city.
If Noida opens the Delhi borders we will have similar problem. Keep the borders shut DM Noida.
There are vested interests (business walas) primarily who want borders
opened but u as administrators need to ensure safety first. more

Sorry, I don't think that exclusively "business walas" have vested interest in passing through the inter-state border. I know non business wallas too try to get into Noida through the Delhi-Noida border (some returning from Airport/Hospital/Office etc.). In fact, many people having office in Delhi were issuing ePass stating that they have work in Faridabad. These incidents will only increase going forward. It is also not feasible to shut the Delhi-UP border for ever. Kovid-19 is here to stay and we have to live with ever increasing number of infected people. Opening the border is sensible option in my humble opinion. more

I think it is quite correct to assume that it is not only business people who have to cross the border. Many people who have work in the neighbouring state may need to travel there from another state. It is people themselves who need to understand what is the necessity for them to travel. more

If you happen to come to Noida through DND around 6 pm now a days, you can see the chaos, what to.say, so poorly managed. more

There are genuine people who need an Epass but the procedure is not that simple. As per my knowledge a person coming by air from any other city to Noida has to acquire a epass to enter Noida. By showing his boarding pass he/she should be permitted. If you see the visuals at the border no thermal screening is done and an epass is sufficient to let the person pass. In order to prevent the increase of the number of covid cases in the state thermal screening is a must. If being a resident of Noida he is being thermally screened to enter offices/banks then why not at the border. more

Unless proven guilty in a court of law, every person in genuine. Not sure who would determine "genuine people" and on what basis. more

I agree with Ms.Dutta... but at the sametime DM should bring in more epasses get issued by scrutinize them. Needy should not be disallowed. more

Its foolish to expect that the Borders of Delhi with NCR towns can be closed for ever. Probably 80% of the people living in Noida, work in Delhi and Gurgaon. A large number of Businessmen have their operations in Noida or Gurgaon, though they live in Delhi. Yes, it is correct that some controls are needed to ensure that Covid 19 does not spread. But, let us also be clear and understand that it is the public that would be responsible for following the correct practices so that Covid 19 can be controlled. Let us look at ourselves.... and make sure that we are doing nothing to affect others as well as our own selves. more
