IT IS INEVITABLE FOR PRICES TO GO UP TEAR AFTER YEAR :
Of late we have been witnessing prices not going up, but taking rapid strides in short periods . Some havent come down at all . Some comes down a bit stays higher than the previous level . I dont like to go deep into it we have been watching it .
This price of Onions shooting up shuld have been addressed by the Agricultural and Commerce Departments . The general public do know about the monsoons in India and get themselves prepared . Like collecting fuel woood and others covered . Grains stored for a considerable period . Cleaning up the cannals and Pools for saving water and so on .
*The Agricultural Department / Ministy first of all should build Rain and calamity proff storage facility for the farm products. If they had done this would have been avoided , the whole country wouldn't be going through the Curse and tough time.
* It takes 2 to 3 months to import any food items . Now the import of onions can be expected only in the middle of January .This delay in supplying the food materials to the public should be foreseen and the Ministry and department should constantly keep a watch on the pattern of Monsoon along wih the food stocks.
India is a Diverse countrywith diverse food habits and grains and vegetables . What vegetable , food item is ones favourite may be of least interest for the other and vis versa.
The Answer isn't "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", meaning if no bread let them eat cake supposedly spoken by "a great princess" - Marie Antoinette in the 18th Century in France upon learning th at the peasants had no bread. more

The comment was unwarranted and gives one the impression that she does not care what is the condition of the other people since it is not effecting her.She should have been more careful in giving opinions or statements and could have stated what actions is being taken by the govt and she feels very sorry etc would have been better more

It is quite funny to note the FM's comment that she does not eat onion/garlic. This means she will do for what she likes and not for the public. Quite disgusting state of affairs. Others comment are also condemned as hey are no different from her. more

It is well known that her comment wad twisted out of context. When she explained that the Govt was importing onions from Turkey, the Congress replied that onions from abroad did to taste good. To this asinine comment she replied she did not know whether it tasted better or worse as she did not eat onion or garlic.

Dear stephen I do not have to ask my parents everyone can see what could have been done much earlier is being done now and we would have been as a nation much more progressed in every sphere of life but did not happen .Some things have been done but tax payers money were siphoned off as one can see how it was functioning with so many NPA and cases against people .i do not have to support any one but it is fact and now also it is not that it is not happening but to a lesser extent since we have a leader who is clean unlike earlier more

Dear Ashok...I appreciate your positive outlook. However I have experienced that corruption is at an all time high..PSU's, Government, Legal...take any Department and you will find work would only progress if you pay. Regarding the so called fast track progress...progress is the result of town planners and the sanction lies in the hands of bureaucrats. Just like all hard work and planning is done by someone but credit is taken by lesser/uneducated bureaucrats/politicians, similarly in politics too people take credit for work which has already been started earlier but completion is done and credit claimed. And one thing more...people assume that what they feel is right so they don't even have courtesy of asking elders as your opening statement reveals. You know everything and expect your parents also to follow you? Doesn't it reveal the factionalism? more
