Is Tamil Nadu government secular ?
A government can be considered secular, if it would not interfere in religious matters and treat all religions on par. Based on this definition, can we consider the present Tamil Nadu government as secular ?
In the recent budget of the Tamil Nadu government, Rs. 6 crore has been allotted for renovation of churches and mosques. However, no money has been allotted for renovating gurudwaras. Is this act secular ?
Tamil Nadu government insists that non brahmins should be appointed as archakas in temples and Tamil archanas should be done in temples . It has not insisted that prayers should be done in mosques , churches and gurudwaras in Tamil language . Is it secular ?
Tamil Nadu government insist that Vinayaka idols should not be taken in procession during Vinayaka chathurthi festival. But, tasmac shops, cinema halls, public parks etc. are allowed to function.
Tamil Nadu government should re examine it’s priorities and should not allow an impression to gain ground that it is carrying out an onslaught against Hindu religion.

“Also appointing archakas for performing in Tamil is in no way going to uplift the life of those considered or proclaimed to be downtrodden. Because the salary or any contribution to such performance of pooja in temple is only minmum. It is only literacy which will enable a persons self confidence and uplift him thro his own effortsis expected.” If Archaka profession is not going to uplift the person and it’s pecuniary benefits are limited, Then why does a section cling to that profession, is it to serve God? You have aptly quoted “The saying that The Devil was sick, the devil a saint would be; The devil was well , the devil the saint was he goes well in present case. “ Because how well one is educated , how well one is intelligent, how well one is powerful , if he is born in a lower caste he is not considered equal , for he cannot perform Archana.How foolish and idiotic one is , he considers the former person inferior to him as he is the only person entitled to perform archanai. This group who has not done anything to Hindu Dharma except dividing people and thereby weakening the religion, causing exodus, everything for their selfish ends, brag falsely that they are the saviours of the religion. But, unfortunately nobody in Tamil Nadu is ready to believe them and their pretensions. Instead of standing on high pedestal and giving sermons, the so called Enlightened group, in what way they are Enlightened who knows, shed down the holier than thou coat and mix with all the brethren of the Hindu Dharma and it will be the yeomen service they can offer to our religion. I have attached a photo. Will this Shankaracharya make Mr. Subramanyam samy to sit on the floor of his threshold?

NO WAY HINDUS CAN EXPECT A SECULAR GOVT FROM DMK ANS THAT WAS THEIR BASE TILL THE LAST ELECTION .L,MURUGAN CREATED CRACK IN THEIR BASE AND ELECTION RESULT REFELECTD A THIN MARGIONAL WIN WITH DINAKARAN SPLIT, WITHOUT VIJAYKANT IN ALLIANCE, OPS EPS GROUP ETC ETC SOMANY -ive FACTORS STILL THE MARGIN IS ONLY 3% SO NO THEY HAVE TO ATLEASE ACT AS SUPPORTERS OF HINDU AND THE PEOPLE DOWN THE LINE SEE THE MEDIA ( ALL THEIR SUPPORTERS) PROJECT DMK AS A HINDU SUPPORTING PART. AS MANY ANTI HINDU ISSUES ARE NEVER SHOWN OR PROJECTS BY THESE MEDIAS AND HENCE THE MAJORITY HINDUS DO NTO KNOW HOW THESE PARTIES DO HARMING TO HINDUS AND HINDU TEMPLES . REACENTLY I READ THAT THEY ARE GOING TO MORTGAGE HIND TEMPLE GOLD OFFERINGS BY DEVOTEES AND PLEDGE THEM AND GOING GENERATE FUND TO TUN THE GOVT. I AM SURE THESE FUND WILL BE MIS USED AND HINDUS ARE GOING TO GET DEPRIVED OFF SOON. ALL THE BEST HINDUS ESPECIALLY THE SO CLAIMED NEUTRAL HINDUS

Why Government should interfere in the belief and faith of Devotees in any religion , if it is really Secular ; HR & CE Department should be abolished in all states or it should be made only R&CE to include all religions;Politicians may be afraid of fatwas if they interfere in other religions ; If they really want to develop Tamil let them learn the language themselves first
