Is GST applicable on TA & DA?
FOR voltas AC SERVICE, i have been charged TA & DA + GST
when I had a discussion with voltas supporting people they said no need to pay TA & DA
but service centre charged TA & DA + GST more

What are you afraid of in disclosing your identity? How TA/DA payable to the service providers' staff can be passed on to the customers! You are liable to pay only the cost of the spares, if any and the labour charges, if the warranty period is over and there is no AMC contract. more

TA & DA is not a part of GST. It is the employer, who bears and not connected to the customer. more

Are you in the AMC Service , that is ANual Maintanance Contract . If you are and if it is within the warantry period , they cant cgarge you . more

This is first time I have heard, normally; service center has a fixed charge for servicing AC for different types of AC. Anyhow, it's better to consult Customer care center of Voltas,, where you can get the right inputs. However vendors sometimes play the game to overcharge. more
