Interest on Inoperative Accounts

The collective recommendations from the circle along with the poll results on EPFO paying interest on inoperative accounts has been presented to EPFO and the same will be reviewed by a High Level Committee today.

We are hopeful that EPFO will consider the collective ask of citizens and implement it. more

Shri Kozhiari Committee recommendation to enhance the pension to three thousand by raising the Govt. Contribution from 1.16 to 8.33% when NDA out of power i.e. during 2013-2014 vehamantly opposing the implementation of Rs.1000/- Min.But to our surprise after coming to power there is no single word to raise our pension. Mr.Premchandran MP from Kerala also givern a notice in favour of EPS pensioner to raise the pension.At least at this juncture the interest earned from the inoperative account be added to the existing pensioner to raise the pension without expenditure to Govt. more  
Almost every day there is a news in Paper about EPF creating more and more curiosity among interested parties. more

This would be a 2nd achievement for us. First one was PF tax withdrawal. Let's wait and see. more
