no sir. It is an income in the Government Budget. Unless and until the Government has income, how it can spend on various projects. Our government budget is already in deficit, i.e., expenditure is higher than income. Reducing further the taxes is a very big exercise and for this lot of planning has to be done. more

During elections political parties declare freebies; rather there should be a ruling that instead of freebies, there should be reduction of sales taxes. more

Taes are introduced only to eliminate the disparity in the society; but when the burdens of taxes go up, it only says that disparity is increasing. more

Yes that's why politicians and the successive governments be it central or state, have been religiously doing that only. Tax payers after paying taxes do not have any right to say, how it should be spent. Why not keep a place in the tax return forms for tax payers to indicate , how the tax paid should be spent. more
