If you are diabetic or know someone with diabetes, here is some great news! As known, people with type 2 diabetes mellitus are prone to developing heart disease. New research tells us that you can lower this risk by snacking on different types of nuts. Nuts are rich in monounsaturated fats that keep your arteries from getting clogged. You can take 2 ounces of nuts daily. It will lower your bad LDL cholesterol and regulate blood sugar levels. Just munch your way to a healthy heart! more

Thank you very much. It is nice to see two great minds agreeing. more
I 100% AGREE WITH YOU. Thanks for your comments. more
Dear Mr. Grover your advice is quite nice but dangerous as all the nuts are not good as you mentioned. Couple of most popular nuts are very dangerous and just increase Cholesterol that too manifold. For example Cashew Nut. On otherside diabetes is not limited to only well to do people it's with all the segments of people and most of them may not be able to afford 2 ounces of nuts which may at least cost Rs.50 to Rs.80 approximately daily. I feel best and cheaper solution for Indians is Alsi seeds which is far cheaper and more effective and is full of fibre and everyone can afford it easily. More over Alsi seeds are far more effective in controlling sugar as well as the Triglycerides and Cholesterol. Do you agree to me or if I am wrong plse advise. more
